MGM College Of Nursing Katni was Established in 2011 by Katni Hospital Pvt. Ltd., MGM School of Nursing, Katni was founded with a clear vision—to develop and implement model programs in nursing education that set new standards in the field. The institution is managed by Katni Hospital Pvt. Ltd., a company registered under the Companies Act, and works in close association with hospitals, health centres, medical facilities, and allied healthcare agencies to provide high-quality training for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) students.
Rooted in the philosophy of Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing, the school emphasizes the holistic preparation of nurses not only to care for the sick but also to prevent disease and promote health at the individual, family, and community levels.
Guided by the World Health Organization’s (WHO) definition of health—"a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity"—the institution integrates theory with clinical practice to ensure comprehensive, student-centered nursing education. MGM School/College of Nursing aims to produce competent, compassionate, and ethical nursing professionals who are prepared to meet the challenges of today’s dynamic healthcare environment.
