Disciplinary Committee
INTRODUCTION
Nursing education comprises of teaching ethics to the students so as to prepare them as professionals. As part of this preparation, the institute ensures that the students maintain rules, regulations put forth by the governing bodies. Maintaining discipline and taking corrective remedial measures for noncompliance of the rules, regulation and ethics is the main purpose of formulating the disciplinary committee.
AIM
To ensure and maintain discipline amongst the students and ensure safety of all stakeholders.
OBJECTIVES
- To maintain discipline in the campus, college premises, classroom as well as in the hospitals wherever the students are posted.
- To achieve the goal of creating a safe, motivating and accepting college environment by supporting the use of positive attitudes and practices.
- To uptake measures for inappropriate behaviour including progressive discipline comprising suspension and expulsion where necessary.
